The ACS team has deep experience giving speeches and presentations on the disability-climate nexus. We’ve presented to organizations, to the public, and at events and conferences nationwide. We’ve moderated and spoken on panels touching climate justice, disability rights, public policy and more. 

Accessible Housing Matters Podcast

In August 2022, Alex joined accessible housing specialist and disability-focused realtor Stephen Beard on his podcast, Accessible Housing Matters, to discuss the connections between climate change, housing, and disability.

What do you Solve?

In August 2025, Alex was the featured guest on Climate Hive’s podcast, What Do You Solve? On What Do You Solve, Climate Hive’s cofounder and CEO, Kevin Drolet, interviews leaders and entrepreneurs working on critical climate issues, from sustainability to resilience. 

Health Summit 2023

Alex was one of 4 featured guests on the Climate Change panel for the Family Resource Centers Network of CA‘s 2023 Health Summit. The Family Resource Centers Network supports families of children with disabilities as they navigate healthcare, public benefits, childhood with a disability, and the move toward independence. The organization’s annual Health Summit helps families and healthcare professionals better understand critical issues facing children with disabilities. Alex joined the inaugural Summit in 2023 to explore intersectional issues around climate change and disability, especially for youth and young adults.
