Collaboration & Advocacy

Teamwork is a key tool in the fight for disability rights and civil rights in general. We are excited to collaborate with our partners on broad advocacy and specific projects. Our experience with writing, research, public engagement, advocacy and more can support your efforts – whether through a partnership or as a contractor.

Grant-Funded Projects

Grants empower us to collect information, improve public knowledge, and create well-designed policies for government and business. Accessible Climate Strategies can partner on projects that directly address disability justice in: climate resilience, infrastructure and transportation, and financial empowerment and other disability rights. We are also happy to review and edit your grant applications related to disability rights or climate justice – so they have a greater chance of securing funds.

Public Engagement & Policy

Our networks can help you gather information from the disability community, policy experts and professionals. We can coordinate and host workshops, focus groups, or sets of interviews to better inform your policies and actions. One of the main tenets of the disability rights movement is “nothing about us, without us” – so connect with the community to build the best systems possible.

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides specialized input to your project or event. We can join you for presentations or as a disability rights SME in your focus groups or panel discussions. We can also review reports and other documents to ensure they address disability rights in the best ways possible. Media inquiries are always welcome!
